Handbook for College Students with Disabilities
The Self-Advocacy Handbook teaches college students with disabilities how to become strong self-advocates. The handbook begins with a look at the transition from high school to college. The final three sections correspond with the definition of self advocacy: “Know Yourself,” “Know What You Need and Want,” and “Know How to Get What You Need and Want.” Each module is structured to provide a synopsis of the topic, application materials (worksheet, checklist, suggested activities, etc.), and other resource linkages. The handbook is under development; completed sections are available online using the links below.
